Mrs. Janice Elaine Simmons Thomas age 76 of 104 Garden Terrace, Mt. Airy, NC widow of Mr. William Churchill Thomas passed away Thursday night, December 28, 2006 at her home. She was born January 9, 1930 in Surry County, NC to the late George Washington Simmons and Runie Mae Simmons Pruitt. She was retired from Lynn Hosiery and was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Deborah T. and Ronald Binkley, Dandridge, TN, and Brenda Thomas Dollyhigh, Dobson, NC, two grandchildren and spouses, Steven Gray and Brittany Hope Binkley, Lexington, SC, Janis Michelle
