Jaquelyn "Jackie" Sue Flippin

Jacquelyn “Jackie” Sue Flippin, age 65 of Winston-Salem, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Jackie was born in Surry County on January 7, 1951 to Alexander Flippin, Jr. and Ava Scott Flippin Hutchens. She graduated from North Surry High School and with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Pharmacy in 1974. Jackie was employed as a retail and consultant pharmacist throughout the Winston-Salem area and retired from Legacy Consulting Pharmacy in 2015. Surviving is her dear friend of forty years, Joan Johnson; a sister-in-law, Ann Flippin; a nephew Brian Flippin; and several cousins. In addition to her parents, Miss Flippin was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Flippin. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Deward Scott and Chaplain Sayward Fletcher. Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kate B.
