Jason Todd Burkhart

Mr. Jason Todd Burkhart, 34, of 1365 East Pine Street, Mount Airy, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at his home. Mr. Burkhart was born March 25, 1976, to Brenda Harrell Burkhart and the late Jack Lonnie Burkhart Jr.. He was employed as a construction worker. Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Brenda and John Eaton of Mount Airy; a daughter, Addison Nicole Burkhart of Cana, VA; a sister, Tracey Petty of Sparta; two brothers, Dale Burkhart and Donald Burkhart, both of Mount Airy; and two stepbrothers, Johnny Eaton and James Eaton, both of Chapel Hill. The funeral service will be held Friday, November 19, 2010, at 2:00 PM at Northside Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dean Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Korners Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Moody Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1288, Mount Airy, NC 27030 to assist the family with the funeral expenses.
