Jason Jeffrey "J.J." Lee Dillard

Mr. Jason Jeffrey "J.J." Lee Dillard beloved son of Jeffrey (Rusty) and Dorothy Dillard was born May 20, 1986 in Surry County. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Alan Dillard. He is survived by a son Jase Alden Dillard born October 19, 2004, special friend, and Jase's mother, Lauren Agostini, a sister, Billie Cronk, brother-in-law, Steven Cronk, a nephew, Dillan Cronk, niece Aurora Cronk and a brother, Larry Dillard. He lived more in 22 years than most people do in 70 years. He was very well liked and never met a stranger. or a task he could not do and did everything to the very best, some might even say to the extreme. He will be missed by his family, extended family and many friends. His plan for the future was not to fear death but to live life as if it was his last day and was ready for God's time to come for him to go home, which came Sunday evening around 8:00 PM doing something he loved, riding his motorcycle. His last words to his son were, "daddy loves you". There will be a viewing at Moody Funeral Home of Mt. Airy from 5-7 PM Thursday evening. A graveside remembrance will be held at the Dillard Family Cemetery on Fisher Peak Trail , Lowgap, NC Friday evening at 5:00 PM. The Remembrance service will be conducted by Rev. Bobby Freeman and Rev. Butch Holder. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jase Alden Dillard's educational fund, c/o Wachovia Bank, 554 N. Main Street, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
