Jason LaRay Smith

Jason LaRay Smith, 37 of Stuart, passed away Saturday May 28, 2011 at Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital. He was born in Greensboro N.C. on April 28, 1974 to LaRay Smith and the late Betty Collins Smith. Other than his mother, he was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents; Carlos and Bertha Smith and Maternal Grandparents; Hassell and Iva Collins. He attended Pleasant View Baptist Church, he was a machinist for L. K. Smith Machine Shop, a huge fan of U.N.C., Bears Football and an avid golfer.
Other than his father, Jason is survived by his wife; Wendy Smith of Stuart; two sons, Owen and Bishop Smith of the home; a sister and brother-in-law, Jacinda and Dwayne Clifton of Stuart and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
All Services for Jason will be private.
