Jeannette Elizabeth Raines Shelton

Mrs. Jeannette Elizabeth Raines Shelton, age 76, of Mt. Airy passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Surry Community Health and Rehabilitation in Mt. Airy.  She was born in Surry County on June 14, 1946, to the late Agnes Elizabeth Hodge and Clyde Edgar Raines.  Mrs. Shelton was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.  She is survived by her husband, Stephen Wayne Shelton; a sister, Deborah Shelton; and a brother, Dennis Edgar Raines.  A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Oakdale Cemetery at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Mickey Cogdill officiating.
