Jedidye Adam Martin

Mr. Jedidye “Jed” Adam Martin, age 32 of Stuart, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Northern Regional Hospital in Mount Airy.  Mr. Martin was born on February 19, 1990, in Surry County to James Carroll and Donna Miller Martin.  Mr. Martin was a loving son, father, brother, and friend.  He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.  Surviving is his daughter, Daisy Martin; his mother, Donna Miller Martin; one sister and brother-in-law; Brittany Lara and husband Marco; one brother and sister-in-law, Zachary Martin and wife Kayla; three nieces, Michelle Lara, Deanna Lara, Adaline Martin; one nephew, Bentley Martin; and his paternal grandmother, Carol Smith.  Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his father, James Carroll Martin; a brother, James Lee “Jimmy” Martin; maternal grandparents, Jack and Joyce Miller; and paternal grandfather, James Dye.  A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022, at Welcome Valley Baptist Church in Elkin, North Carolina with Pastor Bill Jenkins officiating.  Burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made at the following link: https://www.gofundme.com/f/8xwr9-jed-martin?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_campaign=p_cf+share-flow-1  .
