Jeffery Allen Adkins

Pastor Jeffery Allen Adkins, age 42, of Dobson, NC was killed in an automotive accident on Wednesday evening December 2, 2020 in Surry County.  He was born in Raleigh County, West Virginia on December 29, 1977 to Ralph Donald “Donnie” Adkins and Patricia Sue Gunter Adkins.  He was the pastor of Liberty Baptist Church and the owner/operator of ABC Tree Service.  Surviving is his wife April Vance Adkins; daughter, Hannah Nichole Adkins; his parents; sister Angela Campbell; brother and sister-in-law, Donald Kieth and Kimberly Adkins; nieces, Donna Kay Adkins, Victoria Tolbert; great niece, Lilith “Ellie” Avila, great-nephew, Kenny Tolbert.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday December 5, 2020 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home, with Pastor Von Ramsey conducting.  Burial will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 6, 2020 in the Adkins Family Cemetery, in Abington, VA.  The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until the time of his service.  Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the Adkins family.
