Jeffery Lane Hodges

Mr. Jeffery Lane Hodges, 61 of Mount Airy passed away, Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center surrounded by his family.  Mr. Hodges was born in Surry County on July 6, 1959 to the late Garnett Wayne and Beulah Mae Faw Hodges.  Mr. Hodges was a loving husband, brother, and friend to all that knew him. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.  Jeff was dedicated to the art of granite fabrication in various facets.  Left to cherish is memories are his wife of 23 years, Trelesa Lawson Hodges; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon Hodges Atkins and Charles, two nieces, Breleigh Atkins, Morgan Lawson; three nephews, Harrison Atkins, Joey Odell, Roby Odell, and Chase Lawson; step-father Ed Martin; and one step-brother Johnny Martin; sister-in-law, Faith McCreary and Wade; brothers-in-law Neal Lawson and Nathanael Lawson.  In addition to his parent Mr. Hodges was preceded in death by his one nephew Reid McCreary, two step-brothers, Jimmy Martin and Jeff Martin.  A private memorial service will be held Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 11:00 AM in Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sammy Lawson & Rev. David Sparks officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to SECU Family Housing, 1970 Baldwin Lane, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, 27103.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
