Jeffrey (Jeff) Lane Inscore

Mr. Jeffrey (Jeff) Lane Inscore, age 66, of Midland, NC passed away at Atrium Health Stanly Hospital in Albemarle, NC on February 3, 2023. Mr. Inscore was born in Surry County, October 25, 1956, the son of the late Clyde and Lettie Reynolds Inscore. He was a graduate of East Surry High School and Surry Community College and was retired from Phillip Morris USA. Mr. Inscore was a member of First Baptist Church in Locust, NC. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Debra Wood Inscore; a daughter and son-in-law, Brittany and Paul Anderson; a son, Justin Inscore; grandchildren, Lauren Anderson and Allison Anderson; sister, Rhonda Slayton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Rick Inscore, Scott and Sharon Inscore, Pamela Harris Inscore ; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tycho and Pansy Wood; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tycho Jr. and Marie Wood, and Johnny and Bobbie Wood; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Darrell Inscore and brother-in-law, Robert Slayton. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Skyline Memory Gardens with Rev. Robert McCreary officiating. No visitation will be held at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Special Olympics Cabarrus County 7321 Raging Ridge Road, Harrisburg, NC 28075, or to Special Olympics Stanly County, E.E. Waddell Center, 621 Wall St., Albemarle, NC 28001.  Moody Funeral Service of Mount Airy is serving the Inscore family.
