Jeffrey Edward Puckett

Mr. Jeffrey Edward Puckett, 39, of 118 Dunaway Lane, Pilot Mountain, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 15, 2012. Mr. Puckett was born February 8, 1973, in Beckley, WV, to Barbara Ann Foley Puckett and the late Chester Edward "Jake" Puckett. He is survived by a son, Ryan Puckett of Pilot Mountain; a daughter and son-in-law, Ranee and Travis Ayers of King; his mother, Barbara Ann Foley Puckett of Pilot Mountain; his girlfriend, Chrystal Harrison of Pilot Mountain; a brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Misty Puckett of Pilot Mountain; and several nieces and nephews. He had several special friends, including Danny Leftwich (Brother) and his wife, Amanda, and Milton Fincher. Jeff also had several "little buddies," including Destiny Puckett, Trinity Lawson, and Zach Martin. In addition to his father, Mr. Puckett was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Betty Puckett and Leonard and Pauline Foley. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at 2:00 PM at True Word Baptist Church, with the Rev. David Joyce officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at True Word Baptist Church. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
