Jennifer Mae Overby

         Mrs. Jennifer Mae Martin Overby, age 43 of Lawsonville, NC, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home.  She was born on January 12, 1976 in Patrick County. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Denzer James and Georgia Mae Underwood Griffith; paternal grandparents, Henry Eugene Martin Sr. and Sarah Eunice Lewis Martin; and two cousins, Paul Vipperman and Michael Griffith. Jennifer was a member of Collinstown Presbyterian Church.  She will be remembered as a woman with strong faith, who carried a smile on her face and was courageous no matter what life threw at her, enjoyed life to the fullest, and was an inspiration to all her knew her.  She was an adoring mama to her beloved son, Joseph, a devoted wife, and loving daughter. 

         Surviving are her husband, Keith Bradley Overby of the home; a son, Joseph Bradley Overby of the home; parents, Delmas Leon Martin and Linda Gail Griffith Martin of Stuart; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John Lester Overby and Mary Lois Holt Overby of Lawsonville, NC; and many treasured cousins and friends.

         Funeral services will be held Friday, February 8, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Crossroads Baptist Church with Pastors Shaun Draughn and Andy Pack officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends Thursday night from 6 to 8 at the church.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
