Jennifer Lynn Gilley Sumner

Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Gilley Sumner, age 65, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  She was born in Forsyth County on March 19, 1957 to the late Calvin and Betty Hurst Gilley.  She was a loving mother, and grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her.  Left to cherish her memories are her children and their spouses, Honesty and Adam Ring, Hope and Jordan Williams, Chris and Brianna Sumner, Corey Sumner; grandchildren, Caroline Williams, Georgia Kate Williams, Jack Williams, Isaac Ring, Henry Williams; sisters, Sandra Tilley, Regina Waller and her husband Donnie, Gina Vogler, Kim Farrell; brother, Calvin Farrell.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sumner was preceded in death by a brother, Chris Gilley, and her stepmother, Allene Gilley.  A funeral service will be held on Sunday at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with services conducted by Dr. Jonathan Casstevens.  Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. There will be no formal visitation all attendees are asked to go to the chapel upon arrival at the funeral home.
