Jeremy "Bobble" Franklin Collins

Mr. Jeremy Franklin “Bobble” Collins, 34, of Mt. Airy, NC, passed away at his home due to a Fentanyl overdose on Sunday, October 31, 2021. He was born in Surry County July 6, 1987, to Edward “Eddie” Franklin Collins and Melissa Gay Shore. Jeremy loved his family and had a great sense of humor. He had a huge heart, willing to assist others when he could. For several years, Jeremy struggled to fight the drug addiction that prevented him from living the life he so deeply wanted to live. Jeremy will be deeply missed by his parents, Melissa and Curtis Mundy, and Eddie and Wendi Collins; his siblings, Justin Brock, Jordan Hawks, Bradley Collins and fiancée Amy Baumgardner, Erica Wall, Amber Atkinson and fiancé Brandon Taylor, Devon Mundy, Lexis Collins and fiancé Brandon Wilber, Mercedes Mundy, Aden Mundy, Arayah Mundy, and Jaelyn Collins; grandparents, Grace Atkins, Gray Shore and friend Patsy Driver, Mabelene and Don Beverly, Robert and Joyce Wright, Kensee Wright; and several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary V. and Maynard Collins. A funeral service will be held at Moody Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 6, 2021. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:30 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to a substance abuse recovery charity of your choice.
