Jeremy "Brett" Ray

Mr. Jeremy "Brett" Ray, 21, of Dobson, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday May 26, 2007 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Surry County on May 24, 1986 to Rex Brett Ray and Donna Branch. Mr. Ray was employed at Mt. Airy Yamaha- Suzuki and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his father, Rex Ray of Elkin; his mother, Donna Branch of Mt. Airy; a sister, Madison Ray of Dobson; paternal grandparents, Thomas and Annie Ray of Elkin; maternal grandparents, Wayne and Donese Branch of Dobson; aunt and uncle, Dickie and LuAnn Golden of State Road; cousin, Jessie Ann Golden and countless friends. Brett was an avid motorcyclist, and enjoyed riding with his friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday May 28, 2007 at Blue's Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Blue's Grove Baptist Church on Monday from 12:30 until the hour of the funeral service. Moody-Davis Funeral Home of Dobson is serving the Ray family.
