Jerry Bauguess

Mr. Jerry Franklin Bauguess, age 75, of Dobson passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022. He was born in Surry County on July 18, 1946, to the late Philo and Mae Crissman Bauguess. Jerry was employed by Norfolk Southern Railway and retired after 36 years. Jerry was a member of Copeland Masonic Lodge # 390 A.F. & A.M. His favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing and playing golf. He is survived by his wife, Gail Collins Bauguess; his son, Jarrett Bauguess, and wife, Stefanie; and granddaughter, Sydney Bauguess, all of Lexington NC; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by two brothers, Edwin Bauguess and Donald Gray Hall. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 1-2:00 PM at New Home Church of Christ. Services will begin at 2:00 in the church with Brother Tim Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Copeland Baptist Church Cemetery. Special thanks to his caregiver and friend, Cindy Mayes.
