Jerry Lee Burcham Sr.

Mr. Jerry Lee Burcham Sr., age 62 of Dobson, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at his residence. He was born June 27, 1956 in Wilkes County to the late Charlie Arvil and Ozeal Jolly Burcham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin and Maude Jolly Billings; and his paternal grandparents, Avery and Belle Burcham.  Mr. Burcham was retired from Sara Lee and attended Holly Springs Baptist Church. He was a loving father and grandfather and had been a dedicated AA member for nine years. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Lee and Mary Beth Burcham, Jr.; his daughter, Crystal Diane Burcham and her special friend Daniel Lineberry; grandchildren, Lacey Shyanne Lineberry, Ryker Lee Burcham, and Elizabeth Drew Burcham; sisters, Judy Carol Sweat, Mary Burcham Barton, Sandra Louise Clark and Patricia Ann Gallimore; special friends, Ron Hass and Sissy and Jim Farmer. Visitation will be Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 2-3 PM at Union Cross Baptist Church. The service will follow at 3:00 with Reverend Cory Honeycutt officiating, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Burcham family.
