Jerry Michael Draughn

Mr. Jerry Michael Draughn, 67, of Dobson, North Carolina passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. Born March 25, 1957, in Surry County to the late Grover Samuel and Francis Louise Simpson Draughn. Mr. Draughn retired from Dobson Trucking, where he worked as a dump truck driver. Jerry was a loving brother and uncle; he loved his nieces and nephews and cherished the time spent with them. Mr. Draughn is survived by four sisters and brothers-in-law, Catherine and Jake Tate, Sandra and Clinton Ayers, Karen and Ken Forester, and Melissa and Thomas Thompson; three brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Carolyn Draughn, Lewis and Trish Draughn, and Jeffery and Melissa Draughn. There will be a graveside service Tuesday, August 13th, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the New Home Church of Christ Cemetery with Junior Tate officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson, North Carolina is serving the Draughn Family.
