Jerry Kelly "Junior" Haynes, Jr.

Mr. Jerry Kelly “Junior” Haynes, Jr., 78, of Ararat, VA passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, at his home. He was born in Carroll County, VA on August 7, 1943, to the late Jerry and Treva Hall Haynes. Mr. Haynes was retired from NC Granite Corporation. He is survived by his wife Darlene Felts Haynes; sons and daughters-in-law, Pastor Kelly Haynes and wife Tammy, Freddy Haynes and wife Michelle; stepdaughters, Donna Joyce, Tina Beamer, Vanessa Pasquareillo; stepson, Dwayne Greeson; grandsons, Benji Haynes and wife Terri, Colby Haynes and wife Laken; ten step grandchildren; great grandson, Henley Grant Haynes; fifteen step great grandchildren. In addition to his parents Mr. Haynes was preceded in death by his first wife, Faye Pruitt Haynes; his second wife, Janet Haynes; brothers, Robert “Buster” Haynes, and Odell Haynes. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 21, 2022, at 11:00 am at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Emmett Crotts officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 until 11:00 am at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy is serving the Haynes family.
