Jerry Lee Hill

        Mr. Jerry Lee Hill, age 73 of Westfield, NC, passed away Friday, February 9, 2024, at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC.  He was born in Stokes County, NC on February 26, 1950, to the late James Alvin Hill and Virginia Gray Hill.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger Dale Hill, and James Michael Hill.  Jerry enjoyed working at Dobson Monuments and attended Temple Baptist Church.  He loved shooting guns, collecting coins, and cutting wood.

        Surviving is his loving wife of 51 years, Jessie Combs Hill of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law, Christina “Cricket” and D.J. Cave of Mt. Airy, NC, Shannon and Mitchell Calhoun of Mt. Airy, NC, Stephanie and Harrison Crews of Stuart, VA; one son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Tara Hill of Westfield, NC; 12 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Renae Harper of Apex, NC, Tammy Hill Merritt of Westfield, NC; special friend, Larry Dean Tilley of Westfield, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

        Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Ricky Easter and Donnie Gray officiating.  Burial will follow in Stateline Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the Stateline Church Cemetery Fund c/o Carroll Dalton, 1448 Stateline Church Rd, Westfield, NC 27053.  Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
