Jerry Clinton Hodgin, Sr

Mr. Jerry Clinton Hodgin Sr., age 70, of Dobson passed away at his home on Saturday May 2, 2009. He was born in Randolph Co. on August 7, 1938 to the late Junius Clinton Hodgin and the late Bonnie Estell Davis Hodgin. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Judith Ann Hodgin. He was a member of Woodland Baptist Church and was retired from Insteel Wire Products in Mt. Airy. Surviving are his wife Judith Evans Hodgin of the home; a daughter and son-in-law Jill and Jeramiah Druck of Boonville; a son and daughter-in-law Jerry Clinton Jr. and Anita Hodgin of Mt. Airy; five grandchildren Levi, Lori-Beth, Landon, J.C. and Mara; by two sisters and brother-in-law Jacqueline Hodgin of Randleman, Joyce and Roy Draughn, of Asheboro, by two brothers and sister-in-law Harold and Hilda Hodgin, of Randleman, Johnny Hodgin, of Sophia. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM May 9, 2009 at Woodland Baptist Church in Mt. Airy, NC. Moody-Davis Funeral Services is serving the Hodgin family.
