          Mr. Jerry Wayne Knowles, age 35 of Meadows of Dan, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020.  He was born in Patrick County on July 4, 1985.  He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing in church.  He loved attending Faith Baptist Church, and would lead congregational singing while playing his guitar.  He had worked at Wood’s Produce since he was sixteen years old where he enjoyed driving trucks.  He would do anything for anyone, and was the best uncle.  He loved the Lord.

          Mr. Knowles is survived by his wife, Devon Knowles of the home; three step-children, Brandon Bailey, Makailya Bailey, and Keirra Bailey of the home; his parents, Kenneth W. and Darlene B. Knowles of Meadows of Dan; his paternal grandparents, Pat and Barbara Knowles of Meadows of Dan; his maternal grandparents, Odell and Ellen Belcher of Meadows of Dan, Russell and Joyce Wimbish of Patrick Springs; a brother and sister-in-law, David and Jessica Knowles of Meadows of Dan; three nieces, Savanna, Maci and Ashlynn; a nephew, Dylan; two uncles, Wayne Belcher of Meadows of Dan and Tony Wimbish of Raleigh, North Carolina; two aunts, Brenda Blake of Morristown, Tennessee and Judi Mayhew of Norfolk; his father-in-law, John Rader of Columbia, Missouri; and best friends, Shannon Hicks and Zeb Hicks, both of Meadows of Dan.

          A graveside service will be held in Knowles-Eden Cemetery on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Joe Young and Pastor Shannon Hicks officiating.  Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is handling the arrangements, and online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
