Jerry Leonard Rakes

Jerry Leonard Rakes formerly of Fredericksburg Virginia passed
away on May, 10 2013. In Dobson, NC at the Hospice House.
He was preceded in death by his wife Loretta Rakes of 43 years. He is survived by two sons Richard Rakes and wife Cindy of Fredericksburg, Virginia and Michael Rakes and wife Kim of Ararat, Virginia. He is also survived by two daughters Debbie Fite and husband Aaron of Locust Grove, Virginia, and his daughter Virginia (Tina) Rakes of Stuart, Virginia.
He is survived by his grandchildren Kristy Fite, Zachery Rakes, Kevin Rakes, Jenni Fite, Kandace Rakes, Mattie Rakes, Mikey Rakes, Hunter Rakes, Andrew Rakes, Jeremy Rakes, Emmalee Rakes, and Bethany Rakes.
Jerry is also survived by two brothers Bill and Jay Rakes of Fredericksburg, Virginia and a sister Diane Stewart and husbandBob of Spotsylvania, Virginia.
He is also survived by two very special nieces Linda Woods of Stuart, Virginia and Betty Jo Smith of Ararat, Virginia.
