Jesse David Bottoms

Mr. Jesse David Bottoms, age 55, of Pilot Mountain, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018.  Mr. Bottoms was born in Forsyth County on April 15, 1963.  David was an avid fisherman and hunter who loved the outdoors.  David’s memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of so many.  He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Patricia Vanhoy Bottoms; his parents, Lawrence and Carol Brinkley Bottoms; a sister and brother-in-law, Sheila and Larry Poindexter; and special friends, Rodney McDaniel, Dwayne Bryant, and Karen Googe.  Mr. Bottoms was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jesse and Bertie Brinkley; his paternal grandparents, Porter and Hazel Bottoms; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, David and Bertha Vanhoy.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Westfield Friends Meeting by Rev. Linda Anderson.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church Tuesday night from 6:00 to 8:00.  Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
