Jesse Thompson

        Mr. Jesse Thompson, age 99 of Meadows of Dan, Virginia passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020, at Commonwealth Senior Living in Hillsville, Virginia.  He was born in New Jersey on July 11, 1921 to the late Joseph Thompson and Edith Bainbridge Thompson.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one grandson, Jesse Thompson and ten siblings.

        Mr. Thompson is survived by three sons, Jesse Thompson of Willis, VA, Walter Thompson and wife, Linda of Meadows of Dan, VA, and William Thompson and wife, Patti of Meadows of Dan; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; two sisters Franny Dalton of Florida; and Sarah Thompson of Tennessee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
