Jessie Carol Brooks

Mrs. Jessie Carol Byrd Brooks, 80, of Mt. Airy, passed away on February 28, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  She was born October 26, 1938 to the late Henry Dallas and Irene Wiles Byrd.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her.  Left to cherish her memories are her husband, George “Bill” Brooks of the home;  daughters and son-in-law, Michelle Brooks Webb and husband Randy, Shannon Beck; son and daughter-in-law, Billy Brooks and wife Stephanie; grandchildren, Brandon Ward, Jessica Brooke Webb and fiancé Cory Losselyong, Sadie Rose Brooks, Martin Gutierrez, Blake Webb, Madison Beck, DJ Beck, Scarlett Brooks, and Sophia Brooks; great-grandchild, Kailani Gutierrez; sisters and brothers-in-law, Stephanie and Garry Hicks, Charley Richardson, Olinda Wiles; brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Nancy Wiles.  In addition to her parents Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by a sister Judy Richardson and a brother Randy Byrd.  A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 4, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Rev. Robert Wiles, Rev. Marshall Adcock, and Dr. Joe Myers.  Burial will follow at The Peoples Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 PM Sunday evening at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
