Jimmie Quesinberry

Mr. Jimmie Quesinberry, 69, of Mount Airy, passed away Friday, December 26, 2008, at his home while surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Quesinberry was born October 4, 1939, in Surry County, to the late Lawrence Andrew and Rosie Belle Richardson Quesinberry. He served in the United States Army and was a retired truck driver. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sharlene Shockley Quesinberry of the home; a daughter, Karen Dollyhigh of Mount Airy; a son and daughter-in-law, the Rev. Jimmie Quesinberry, Jr. and Alisa of Marshville; a foster son, Barry Shinault of Mount Airy; grandchildren, Hannah Dollyhigh, Logan Quesinberry, Allyson Quesinberry, Ryan Quesinberry, and Anna Li Quesinberry; and a brother, Rossie Ray Quesinberry of Mount Airy. In addition to his parents, Mr. Quesinberry was preceded in death by a sister, Flossie Vipperman. The funeral service will be held Sunday, December 28, 2008, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Wallace Cole, and burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
