Jimmie Marvin Sechrist

Mr. Jimmie Marvin Sechrist, 60, of Cana, Virginia, passed away at Forsyth Medical Center, Saturday, October 10, 2020.  He was born on May 19. 1960 in Patrick County, Virginia, to Jimmy Sechrist and the late Ona Mae Jones Sechrist.  Jimmie had a passion of working on vehicles and spend most of his life as a mechanic and a truck driver.  Left to cherish his memories is his father, Mr. Jimmy Sechrist; brother Freddie Lee Sechrist; and special cousin, Clayton Jones, and wife Kathy.  Mr. Sechrist was preceded in death by his mother, Ona Mae Jones Sechrist.  A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at 2:00 PM at the A.L. Jones Family cemetery with Brother C.L. Crotts officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy on October 14, 2020.  Moody Funeral Services of Mount Airy is serving the family.
