Jimmy Dale Ables

Mr. Jimmy Dale Ables, 62, of Mount Airy, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, September 10, 2010, from Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mr. Ables was born July 6, 1948, in Surry County, to the late John Emory and Mammie Sue Bowman Ables. He retired from Insteel Wire. He is survived by his wife, Ethel Mae Coleman Ables of the home; a daughter, Tammy Ables Bryant of the home; a grandchild, Olivia Marie Bryant of the home; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred and Virginia Abel of Mount Airy and Johnny and Rhonda Ables of Siloam. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ables was preceded in death by two brothers, Sammy Ables and Billy Ables. The funeral service will be held Monday, September 13, 2010, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Robbie Vance, the Rev. Tommy Vass, and Brother Johnny Ables officiating. Burial will follow in The People Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
