Jimmy Jason Donathan

Mr. Jimmy Jason Donathan, 48, of Mt. Airy, passed away October 26, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center.  He was born in Forsyth County to Evelyn Donathan and the late Jimmy “Wormy” Donathan.  Jason was looked up to by many people.  He was a protective spouse for 33 years, the best father he could be, as well as a wonderful Papa, and son.  Jason loved to fish and hunt.  Jason was very talented with drawing skills and tattoo artwork.  Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 33 years, Lisa Denise Tate; daughters and son-in-law, Britany Tate Childress and Jeff, and Ashley Nicole Tate; grandson Maximus Gray; mother, Evelyn Donathan; sisters, Jessica Donathan and Brandy Odum; and brothers, Chris Bowman and Joe Donathan.  In addition to his father, Jason was preceded in death by a brother Bill Donathan.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robbie Sizemore and Rev. Jeff Wall officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bowman Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
