Jimmy Dean Quesinberry

Mr. Jimmy Dean Quesinberry, age 68, of Dobson, NC passed away on June 6, 2023. He was born in Surry County, on February 22, 1955, to the late Rupert Ray Quesinberry and the late Ida Mae Hutson Quesinberry. Jimmy, or more lovingly known as Papa Dean, was someone who loved sharing the great outdoors with friends and family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Atkins; two brothers, Rex Quesinberry, and Roger “Shorty” Quesinberry. Surviving is his wife, Jeraldine Monkus Quesinberry; daughter, Amy Quesinberry Holt; son and daughter-in-law, Corey Dean and Tara Quesinberry; grandchildren, Brayden Lee Holt, Caleb Lee Holt, Gracie Mae Quesinberry, Hunter Dean Quesinberry; sisters and brothers-in-law, Donnies and Lonnie Johnson, Brenda and Ronnie Hall, Debbie and Danny Brindle; brothers-and sisters-in-law, Larry and Rhonda Quesinberry, Greg and Lynn Quesinberry, Grant and Cindy Quesinberry; sister-in-law, Lou Quesinberry; several nieces and nephews; several friends and special neighbors. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday June 10, 2023, at The Community Church, with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery. Rev. Ray Hudson and Rev. Ray Wilson will officiate the services. The family will receive friends on Saturday at The Community Church from 12:30 PM until the time of his service at 2:00 PM. Moody- Davis Funeral Home is serving the Quesinberry family. There will be no services held at the funeral home.
