Jimmy Gray Rodgers

Mr. Jimmy Gray Rodgers, age 62, of Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday morning, August 26, 2020, at Northern Regional Hospital in Mount Airy.  He was born in Forsyth County on November 22, 1957 to the late JD Rodgers and Betty Louise Thomas Wright.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be dearly missed.  Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Cindy Leigh Quesinberry Rodgers; his daughter, Kayla Rodgers; a son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Jennifer Rodgers; two grandchildren, Kaylen Rodgers and Layken Rodgers; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Marilyn Wright, and Connie and Garland Burge; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Alex Rodgers, Jackie Rodgers, and Robby and Jessica Wright; and by several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Rodgers was preceded in death by his stepfather, Charles Franklin Wright.  A celebration of Jimmy’s life will be held Saturday August 29, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Chapel of Mount Airy with Rev. Wayne Davis officiating. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home. Due to circumstances with COVID 19 please remember to social distance and wear a mask for everyone's protection.
