Jimmy Dean Tilley

Mr. Jimmy Dean Tilley, age 67, of Dobson, passed away Tuesday, November 23 2021, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. He was born May 22, 1954 in Surry County to the late Mattie Marie Tilley Cornett. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Adoulphus Linville Tilley and Margie Tilley, who raised him; his sister Debbie White; and his brother, Jerry Tilley. Left to cherish his memories are his children, Amy Cave (Randall), Ashley Tilley and Brandon Tilley; grandchildren, Alexis Bounds, Andrew Cave, Sadie Moore, Riley Moore, Brantley Cave and Zechariah Walker; sisters, Peggy Lowe, Betty Layell (Joe), Rose Cornett and Sherry Clyburn; brothers, Edgar Tilley (Melvinia), Housten Tilley (Nancy), Robert Tilley, Kenneth Tillley (Lucille) and Billy Cornett (Rhonda). Visitation will be Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 1-2:00 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Moody-Davis Chapel with Reverend Housten Tilley officiating. Burial will follow in the White Rock United Methodist Church Cemetery in Thurmond.
