Joann McMillian Greer

Ms. Joann McMillian Greer, 75, of Thomasville, NC, passed away on Tuesday afternoon November 22, 2022, at the Hinkle Hospice Home in Lexington, NC.  She was born on June 20, 1947, in Patrick County to the late Edgar and Hallie Reynolds McMillian.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  Ms. Greer is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kendel and Antonio Heraldo; grandchildren, Jonathan Heraldo, Dakota Cruz, and Micaela Cruz; sister, Jilda McMillian, and Jeanette Gravely; brothers, Larry McMillian, and Gary McMillian; several nieces and nephews, and a special friend, George “Joe” Phillips.  In addition to her parents, Ms. Greer was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Bowman; granddaughter, Erika Lachele Evans; an infant sister, Louise McMillian; a brother, Terry McMillian; and her incredibly special poodle, Snuggles.  Graveside Services will be held on Monday November 28, 2022, at 2:00PM at Skyline Memory Gardens with the Reverend Chris Martin officiating.  The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:30PM to 1:30PM at the funeral home.  Memorial donations may be made to The Hinkle Hospice House of Davidson County. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the Greer family.
