Joe David Beamer

Mr. Joe David Beamer, 61, of Walkertown, NC, passed away on July 4th, 2022.  Preceding his death were his parents, Don and Alta Beamer, his sister, Donna Jean Beamer, step-daughter, Elizabeth Vogler, and his niece, Emily Beamer. Surviving him are his children, Jacob Beamer, Chelsea Beamer (Troy Harsey), and Michael Beamer (Lupita Diaz); his step-son, Clifford Kohut (Hannah), his brother, John Beamer (Malinda), his grandchildren, Mia Torres, Micah Beamer, Oliver Beamer, and Scarlet Harsey; his step-grandchildren, Amara Mullins, Miley Vogler, Jase Vogler, Landon Vogler, Emma Kohut, and Andrew Kohut; his nephew Cody Beamer; and girlfriend Courtney Westmoreland and her children Caitlin and Jackson.  The family will be holding services on Saturday, July 9, 2022, to celebrate Joe's life.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM.  The funeral service will start at 11:00 AM in the Moody Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow at Independence Cemetery located at 4188 Stable Rd. Hillsville, VA 24343.  In lieu of flowers, contributions toward funeral expenses would be most appreciated.  Please send contributions to State Employees Credit Union located at P.O.
