Joel Roger Harrison, Jr

Mr. Joel Roger Harrison, Jr., 36, of Mount Airy, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2009, at his home. Mr. Harrison was born in Roanoke, VA, to Joel Roger Harrison, Sr. and Sandra Lee Stafford Harrison. He was employed with Applied Polymerics, Inc. in Mount Airy. In addition to his parents, Mr. Harrison is survived by his wife, Chrystal Lawson Harrison; a son, Adam Harrison; and two brothers, Brian Harrison and Allan Harrison, both of Texas. A prayer service will be held in honor of Mr. Harrison on Friday, February 20, 2009, at 11:00 AM at Applied Polymerics, Inc., 131 James Way, Mount Airy. There will be no formal visitation, but the family will receive friends at their home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
