Joey Donald Kidd

Mr. Joey Donald Kidd, 64, of Dobson, NC, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at his home. Mr. Kidd was born July 4, 1958, to the late Harvey Allen and Ruby Lee Hardy Kidd. Joey was retired from Westrock as a forklift driver, although he continued to work part-time, two days a week. Mr. Kidd was an avid golfer, tractor puller, loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a friend to everyone who knew him and was known to have never met a stranger.  Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 43 years, Robin Marshall Kidd; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher Lee and Elizabeth “Liz” Kidd, one very special granddaughter, Autumn Lee Kidd; brothers and sister-in-law, Jerry and Linda Kidd, and Jack Kidd; mother-in-law, Peggy Marshall; as well as many, many, special friends. Visitation will be Saturday, August 27, 2022, from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. Services will begin at 2:00 PM in the Moody-Davis Chapel with Rev. Tim Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Baptist Church cemetery in Dobson.
