John H. Caudle

Mr. John H. Caudle age 72 formerly of 129 Hunter Road, Mt. Airy, NC passed away Thursday morning, April 17, 2008 at Village Care of King in King, NC. He was born October 16, 1935 in Guilford County, NC to the late John and Daisy Wrenn Perdue Caudle. He was a retired mechanic. Surviving are one daughter, Judy Lynn Caudle, Mt. Airy, four sons and daughters-in-law, William Caudle, Jerry and Teresa Caudle, Marty Caudle, Rodney and Lela Caudle all of Mt. Airy, children from a previous marriage, a daughter, Diane Cooke of Ocean Isle, NC and a son, Ronnie Caudle, High Point, eight grandchildren and two spouses, William Caudle, Jr. and Aislinn, Joshua Caudle and Tabitha, James Johnson, Justin Caudle, Joey Caudle and Tyler Caudle, Christy Caudle and Christy Cooke, three great grandchildren, William Howard Caudle, III, Isabella Gwyn Caudle, and Bryson Tripp Caudle, four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Jean and Eugene Marsh of Julian, Betty and John Welker of Liberty, Naomi Carroll of Julian, and Martha Roark of W. VA, brother, and sister-in-law, Tommy and Nora Caudle of High Point, several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, and mother of Mr. Caudle's children, Frances Collins Caudle of Mt. Airy In addition to his parents, Mr. Caudle was preceded in death by a son, John Wayne Caudle. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, April 20, 2008 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel of Mt. Airy conducted by Bro. Gary Timmons, Bro. Justin Caudle, Rev. Mike Stocks and Bro. Don Collins. Burial will follow in Peoples Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12:30 PM Sunday until time of the service at Moody Funeral Home. The family would like to express a special thanks to Village Care Nursing Home, and staff on the 300 hall, Hospice of Stokes, New Life Pentecostal Church, Bro. and Sis Timmons, Friendly Chapel Church, Bro. Don Collins, Harvest Pentecostal Church, Bro. and Sis. Stocks. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any contributions be made to Moody Funeral Service toward Mr. Caudle's funeral expense.
