John Wesley Elder

John Wesley Elder, of Longview Avenue in Roanoke, VA , passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Pheasant Ridge Nursing Home in Roanoke, VA. He was born August 7, 1946 to Jack and Mary Lee Elder Hudgins in Rochester NY.  John was a graduate of Stuart High School and Virginia Tech.

 Surviving is one very dear daughter, Jennifer Elder of Clearwater, Florida, brothers Doug Elder of Forest, VA, Robert Elder of Lake Norman, NC and Lee Hudgins of Roanoke, VA.  In addition to the parents, he was preceded in death by one brother R.B. ( Boaty)  Hudgins of Stuart, Va.   John had a successful career in sales and as a Sales Manager both in the copier and in the plastics industry.  He enjoyed golfing and any activity involving his beloved daughter, that meant the world to him.
