John Ryan Jessup

Mr. John Ryan Jessup, 37, of Mount Airy, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  John was born June 24, 1982, in Forsyth County, the younger of two sons born to Kary Jay and Yvonne Golding Jessup.  He is survived by his parents, Kary Jay and Yvonne Golding Jessup of Mount Airy; a brother and sister-in-law, Eric and Jessie Jessup of Mount Airy; a nephew, James Jessup of Mount Airy; and a niece, Lilly Jessup of Mount Airy.  John was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Nellie Ruth Rose Golding; and his paternal grandparents, Earlie and Vera Blair Jessup.  A service of worship and celebration of John’s life will be held Saturday, December 21, 2019, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Richard Loman officiating.  No formal visitation will be held.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mount Airy Wesleyan Church Soup Kitchen, 2063 South Main Street, Mount Airy, NC  27030.
