John Adam Parker

Mr. John Adam Parker, 55, of Lambsburg, VA, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  Mr. Parker was born April 20, 1965, in Fort Lauderdale, FL, to the late Jack Alton and Shirley Ann Farris Parker.  He was a loving brother, uncle, and friend and was well known for his carpenter skills.  He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.  Left to cherish his memories are a brother and sister-in-law, Vincent Frederick and Heather Parker; a half-sister, Connie Holland; a half-brother, J.D. Heist; two stepsisters, Terri Hawks and Jill Hawks; a stepbrother, Chuck Hawks; two nieces, Rachel Ann Parker and Josie Lynn Parker; and two nephews, Gabriel Vincent Parker and Reuben Ezekiel Webb.  A graveside service will be held Sunday, February 7, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Chestnut Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, with Pastor Wes Mosteller officiating.  The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:00 until 1:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
