John Eugene Snow

Mr. John Eugene Snow, age 77, of Dobson, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born January 5, 1942 in Surry County to the late Ola Mae Davis Snow and the late John Elmer Snow. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two infant sisters. Mr. Snow was a retired minister of 56 years and a faithful member of Dobson Church of Christ. He was a gifted craftsman and skilled carpenter who enjoyed working with his hands. He spent his life walking in a manner worthy of the calling he received. His happiest times were when his family was all together. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Snow; daughter and son-in-law, Monica and Eddie Thomas; sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Amy Snow; Tim and Anita Draughon; grandchildren, Kayla and her husband Dustan Murphy, Jordan Snow, Allie and her husband Seth Thomas, Logan Draughon, Piper Draughon and Joshua and his wife Kacey Thomas; great-grandchildren, Island Thomas, Olivia Thomas and Kasen Murphy; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Faye and Pat Dillon; and a special aunt, Kathleen McCormick. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 24, 2019 from 6-8 PM at Dobson Church of Christ. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Dobson Church of Christ with Minister Ralph Sproles and Minister Steve Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Double Creek Church of Christ Cemetery.
