Mr. John Junior Stevens “Sugar Daddy”, 42, of Mt. Airy passed away early Sunday morning, July 4, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.  He was born in Surry County on September 25, 1978 to Judy Stevens and the late Junior Stevens.  Mr. Stevens was the owner/operator of Stevens and Sons landscaping for more than 20 years.  He is survived by his loving wife, Niki Stevens of the home, one daughter, Natalie Stevens, one son, Garrett Stevens and girlfriend Sarah, two sisters and brothers-in-law; Angie Knott and husband Gray, Jennifer Tate and husband Terry; one brother and sister-in-law, Rich Stevens and wife Nicole; several nieces and nephews; aunts Sis Stevens, Darlene Goins and her husband Dale, uncles Lewis Stevens and Donnie Stevens, grandma Bertha Stevens, mother-in-law Faye Dollyhite, special friend “GG”.  Throughout his life he never seemed to have met a stranger, always willing to lend a hand to whoever needed help, and had the biggest smile that could light up the room.  In addition to his father, Mr. Stevens was preceded in death by an uncle, Buster Stevens; an aunt, Kathleen Stevens, father-in-law Gary Dollyhite.  The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support during John’s sickness.  A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, July 18, 2021, 5:00 PM-until, at Riverside Park.  Moody’s of Mount Airy is respectively serving the Stevens family.
