Johnnie Delbert Bowman

Mr. Johnnie Delbert Bowman, age 75 of Chatham, passed away Friday, October 11, 2024, at SOVAH Hospital of Danville. He was born in Henry County on December 23, 1948, to the late Delbert and Delia Handy Bowman. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bowman was preceded in death by his longtime girlfriend, Cathy Gibson. He enjoyed riding lawnmowers and cutting grass, and he was a friend to all.

Mr. Bowman is survived by two sons, Randall Bowman (Melissa) of Stuart, and Jeffrey Bowman of Virginia; and two sisters, Helen Wagoner of Patrick Springs and Joleen “Susie” Lewis of Rocky Mount.
