Jonathan Michael Negley

Mr. Jonathan Michael “Bubba” Negley, 25, of Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at his home after a long battle with diabetes.  He was born January 11, 1995, in Surry County, to Kevin Negley and Crystal Leftwich Danner.  Jonathan had a big heart and a free spirit and everyone that knew him fell in love with him.  Left to cherish his memories are two sisters, Jamie Richards and Lauren Danner; two brothers, Nathan Peele and Shane Bradfield; his parents, Kevin Negley and Crystal Leftwich Danner; and his aunts and uncles, Tammy Price, Heather and David Thompson, Tina and Brian Beasley, John Jr. and Claire Negley, and Kathy Heinrich.  Due to the limitations of numbers for public gatherings at this time (COVID-19), the family will have a private graveside service.
