Jonathan Marcus Smith

Mr. Jonathan Marcus Smith, 30, of Mount. Airy, passed away at Northern Regional Hospital, Friday, January 1, 2021.  He was born in Forsyth County on July 6, 1990, to Digna Ann Lowe Smith and Joseph Edward Smith.  In addition to his parents Mr. Smith is survived by his mother, Digna Lowe Smith and her fiancé Alfonzo Gallaway; his father, Joseph Smith and his fiancé Lisa Walker; a sister, Sedalia Strickland; brother, Kado Strickland; three aunts, Diane Johnson, Susie Mason & husband Jock, and Patricia Smith; grandmother Maggie Smith; special cousins, Debra Gunning & Anthony, Jordan Smith, Josh Smith, Trey Marshall.  Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Rachel Lowe, paternal grandfather James Smith, and uncle Henry Smith.  A funeral service will be held January 8, 2021 at 2:00 PM in Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy.  Family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.  Moody Funeral Services is assisting with the services.
