Jonathan Patrick White

Jonathan Patrick (Jon) White went home to be with his heavenly father on June 2, 2018 at the age of 38. He was born to Frosty and Allen White on March 17, 1980 in Surry County, NC. Jon’s smile and love of telling a good story were a joy to those who knew him. He enjoyed motorcycles and tinkering with anything containing an engine.

Jon was a devoted uncle to his nephews, Kendall White and Kasen White of Elkin. He is survived by his loving mother, Frosty White of Elkin, brother Drew White of Elkin (fiancé, Allison Moxley) nephews Kendall and Kasen, along with a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Allen White, grandmother Irene Chaney, grandmother Nannie White and grandfather Abe White.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Mount Hermon Baptist Church by the Rev. Dan Buie and the Rev. James Pardue. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm  to 2:00 pm on June 6, preceding the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Educational Fund for the Benefit of Kendall and Kasen White at State Employees Credit Union, 826 E Atkins Street, Dobson, NC.
