Joseph Badgett

Joseph Franklin Badgett, 83, husband of Sabrina Frasier Badgett, of Beaufort, SC, died Sunday, May 23, 2021 at his residence. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 28, 2021 at 9:00am at Anderson Funeral Home with a Chapel services to follow at 10:30am. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Unity Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Ararat, VA. Mr. Badgett was born on October 20, 1937 in Mt. Airy, NC. He is the son of the late Floyd A. Badgett and Anna Ree Atkinson Badgett. He will be truly missed by all. Surviving in addition to his wife, Sabrina; are one son, Brett Badgett(Cathy); two daughters, Evelyn Owens(Randall) and Frances Haddox(Steve); two brothers, Donald Badgett(Jean) and Michael Badgett(Inez); sister in law, Mary Elliott(Herbert); brother in laws, Millard Ward(Mary) and John Ward(Linda); and twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
