Joseph Donald Kenyon

Mr. Joseph Donald Kenyon age 67 of 181 Doe Run Lane, Mt. Airy, NC passed away at his home Thursday, December 14, 2006. He was born June 21, 1939 in Burlington, Vt. son of the late Donald and Annabelle Kenyon. He lived in the Richmond, Vt. most of his life. He graduated from Richmond High School in 1957. Mr. Kenyon served in the military for 16 years having served in Vietnam from 1968-1969 with the US Navy. He was married to Nancy Lambert Kenyon in 1962. He enjoyed fishing and hunting before retiring to Mt. Airy, NC in 2001. Joseph was a past president of the Chittenden County Bass Master. He enjoyed taking trips with his sister, Alice Boutin. Surviving are his wife, Nancy L. Kenyon of the home, a daughter and son-in-law, Victoria and Art Lafountain, Milton, Vt., five sons and two daughters-in-law, Michael and Victoria Kenyon, Statesville, NC,,Stephen Kenyon, Mt.. Airy, NC, Leonard Kenyon, Barre, VT, Anthony Kenyon, South Burlington, VT, Timothy and Hilery Kenyon, Mt. Airy, NC, 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, four sisters and a brother-in-law, Alice Boutin, Mt. Airy, NC, Shirley and Martin Corbett, Richmond, VT., Theresa Bessette, Huntington, VT, Dianne Corbett, Huntington , VT, a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Virginia Kenyon, Mt. Airy, NC, and many nieces and nephews in VT, NC and ME. A private memorial service will be held Saturday, December 16, 2006 at his home.
