Joseph Curtis Maroni

Mr. Joseph “Joey” Curtis Maroni, age 41 of Stuart, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021, at his home. He was born in Patrick County on March 14, 1980, to the late Joe Maroni and Ruby Bowman Eastridge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a special uncle, Mike Bowman. Joey’s world revolved around his children whom he loved dearly. He also loved hunting and was a die-hard Miami Dolphins fan.

Surviving is Amy Rodgers Maroni; three children, Memphis Josiah Maroni, Samuel Gauge Maroni, Tanner Wade Maroni; one brother, Anthony Lewis Maroni; his stepfather, Larry Eastridge; a special cousin, Rick Bowman; special aunts, Carolyn Bowman, Kathy Dean, Charlene Briggs; special uncles, Melvin and Shorty; and several cousins, extended family members, and friends.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Mary Horner Walker Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Pastor Shaun Draughn officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until time to proceed to the cemetery at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Joseph C. Maroni Memorial Fund, P.O.
